MyIPTV is an IPTV player application. We do not provide, host, or distribute any streaming content. We do not have access to, monitor, or store the content you stream through your own IPTV providers. You are solely responsible for the content you access through third-party providers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the following personal information:

  • Email address for authentication, account recovery, and service communications
  • Name for personalization and profile display

2.2 Usage Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data to improve the Service, including:

  • Playback statistics such as play count and watch duration
  • Screen views and navigation patterns
  • Feature usage and interaction events
  • App performance metrics such as crash reports and load times

2.3 Device Information

We may collect device-related information such as:

  • Device type and model
  • Operating system and version
  • App version
  • Unique device identifiers

2.4 IPTV Provider Credentials

When you add an IPTV provider, we store the connection credentials you provide, such as server URL, username, and password. These credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage and are never stored in plaintext. We use them only to connect to your chosen provider on your behalf.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be transparent about what we do not collect:

  • We do not access, view, or store streaming content from providers
  • We do not log which channels, movies, or series you watch
  • We do not monitor or store stream URLs or media payloads
  • We do not share your provider credentials with third parties

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Connect to your IPTV providers using encrypted credentials
  • Sync your preferences, favorites, and watch progress
  • Send service-related communications such as verification and security alerts
  • Analyze usage patterns and resolve technical issues

5. iCloud Sync

If you use our Apple apps (iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, macOS), certain data may be synced through Apple's iCloud service, including:

  • Watch progress and playback positions
  • Favorites and watchlists

This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data outside the scope of our app.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Apple (StoreKit, iCloud) for in-app purchases, subscription management, and data synchronization on Apple platforms.
  • Stripe for payment processing on the web. Stripe collects payment information directly; we do not store credit card details.
  • TMDB (The Movie Database) for movie and TV metadata such as posters, descriptions, and ratings. No personal data is shared with TMDB.

7. Data Security

We take security seriously and use measures including:

  • AES-256-GCM encryption for provider credentials at rest
  • Secure HTTPS/TLS connections for data in transit
  • Secure session management with Better Auth
  • Regular security updates and reviews

While we work to protect your information, no storage or transmission method is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we delete personal data within 30 days unless retention is required by law. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained for longer.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export of a portable copy of your data
  • Objection to certain processing activities

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
